Dudet Cyan Chair by Patricia Urquiola - Main view

A '70s-inspired design of stunning sculptural appeal, this compact chair consists of a padded sea flanked by two cylindrical elements at once incorporating legs, armrests, and back within the same profile. Easily removable thanks to black zip closures, the soft cyan-hued fabric cover can be detached from the expanded polyurethane padding - with a percentage of sustainable materials and recycled PET padding - for favoring future recycling.

Attention to materials and their life cycle guides our production, which has an industrial approach but a strong artisanal character.

ZEUS was founded in 1984 by a group of friends with the desire and pleasure of exchanging experiences in the fields of design, fashion and art, with the aim of sharing their ideas, contaminating each other. They chose the nameZEUS, the divinity per excellence, deliberately with a bit of arrogance. A group of young designers who recognised themselves in a design philosophy of synthesis: the ZEUS group used to propose minimalist, black, chic furniture.
In 1985 ZEUS presented thefirst design collection by Maurizio Peregalli in its own showroom with the 'archetype' products: Chair-Table-Armchair-Savonarola-Bench-Stool. It was the first time, with all due exceptions, that a young company exhibited during the Salone del Mobile in its own showroom, initiating the Fuorisalone, an appointment then consolidated over the years.
This first collection is still in production, a sign of an iconic design that is unconstrained by current trends. The ZEUS catalogue has expanded over time, while maintaining the core principles of the beginnings, to offer timeless minimal products, entirely handmade by Italian craftsmen. Welding, bending and surface treatment, each technique is carried out with special care to maintain high quality standards. Industrial- style materials, such as metal, and artistic handmade finishes are preferred, deliberately irregular, unpredictable, enhancing the raw material used: each table, chair or complement thus becomes a unique and precious piece.
