Musidora Head Vase

Entirely handmade of terracotta, this vase of Musidora (Greek for "gift of the muses") boasts a bold countenance: the hair is gathered by a supple turban and framed by a fez and jewels, while the deep eyes and sumptuous lips emphasize the piercing gaze.
