ENRICO PELLIZZONI

Enrico Pellizzoni brand was created in 1986 from a tradition in leather production that had spanned almost one hundred years. Since the early 1900s, the Pellizzoni family had made of leather their passion, initially entering the footwear sector but immediately repositioning themselves in furnishings.

The company is traditionally based in Mariano Comense (Como-Italy) and has been established in its current 4,000 sq.m. complex since 1988, where accessories and essential residential and office furnishings are produced by skilled craftsmen in the great tradition of Made in Italy. Each Pellizzoni leather furniture comes from the study of Italian and international designers and is made in full respect of the Italian tradition of leather processing. The care of manual leather processing finds its perfection in the use of the most modern technologies.

Pellizzoni leather furniture is present all over the world and is recognized by customers of all nations for quality, design and craftsmanship. In particular, Pellizzoni distributes furniture, chairs and armchairs throughout Europe, in the Asian market and in the United States of America, where it is present with the specific brand Pellizzoni USA, but thanks to its distribution network is able to satisfy customers from all over the world in search of quality leather furniture and Made in Italy in the name of contemporary luxury design.

We work with Full Grain Leather from the European Union, tanned in Tuscany using only plant-based materials in according to EU Legislation. It's protected and promoted by the trademark "Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana". Its small veins, wrinkles and irregularities are the real value of this material and prove its naturalness. Leather istakenfromthe butcheringmarketfor feeding purposes. No bovine had been therefore killed only for furnishings consumerism. Full grain leather is a material obtained by first quality bovine hides coming from EU member states. The part of leather used is the shoulder.

During the tanning-phase, in which only natural substances are used, the pentachlorinephenol is absent
according to EU Legislation. Tannin extracts are a fundamental ingredient for the slow tanning process and
the quality of its result. The finishing of the leather is carried out with pigments and resins made of caseins,
having therefore a very low toxic content. During the last phase, in order to prevent the surface from
absorbing water, a compound of nitro emulsion is used.
