Lucia Zamberletti approaches ceramics with a raw, intuitive spirit, shaped by years in fashion and a deep connection to nature. Alfio Mian established Fornace Mian in 1962. A decade later, his son Giuliano took over and this Murano glass factory now boasts a staff of 80 people and 26 furnaces. Proudly joined by his two children, Simone and Patrizia, and by world-renowned artists and designers, Giuliano continues producing art, pursuing a deep passion for glass and finely-made objects.

Born in Tel Aviv in 1978, Hagit Pincovici represents the third generation of a family of artisans, and her work has been featured in exhibitions and design magazines around the world. Her creations are made in a family-owned studio in the heart of the furniture district in Brianza. Her pieces, with their rich colors, minimalist designs, and bold structures, epitomize traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Piero Mazzotti and Andri Ioannou have been making porcelain objects since 1987 in Faenza, the very center of Italian pottery production. Stefania Boemi lives and works in Catania, Sicily. The pieces she creates are inspired by carefully researched objects from the past that elicit emotions related to memory. Specifically, objects that are typically Sicilian, which exude her heritage. Stefania breaks down each object, deconstructing and reconstructing it until she has achieved a new utility and mode of interpretation for it. Each of her works is assembled by hand, with an eye to tradition as well as the handcrafted design market.

Fabscarte is a brand of high craftsmanship based in Milano. They specialize in the production of hand-painted wallpapers, constantly experimenting with new techniques and materials. Alessandro Iudici represents the ninth generation in a family of ceramists. His training was received among the centuries-old family kilns, while playing with clay, then sitting at the lathe to turn his first vessels. His work on the lathe is the foundation of his creativity, spurring him to transform the round vessels he created into anthropomorphic and zoomorphic shapes, which continue to issue from the kilns whose fire is never extinguished.

Laura Fiaschi and Gabriele Pardi are the founders of Gum, a design studio with a broad disciplinary focus ranging from industrial and graphic design to art direction for companies and events. Gumdesign’s work always stems from a conceptual impulse generated by a concrete need. The ultimate goal is to give functional form to ideas. Collaborations includes the Biennale of Venice and Up Group. Gum is also the recipient of numerous awards, among which the Best Communicator Award 2014.
