Bottega Intreccio

It is an authentic and extraordinary story that accompanies Bottega Intreccio, the high craft design brand born in Mogliano, Marche, in 2019 with the aim of restoring vitality and passion to the local tradition of weaving.
In this manufacturing district, known throughout Europe since the 1800s for its refined production of baskets and objects in wicker and wicker, the first contemporary Italian school was established to train new generations of weavers: Carteca.
“We believe in a manufacture that is able to speak about the territory and the people.Our artisans are custodians of an ancient knowledge that, through the realization of a common good, expresses and transmits beauty,” says Gianluca Maurizi, proud co-founder of Bottega Intreccio.
Valuable contents, which include those of territorial and social sustainability, pregnant the Bottega Intreccio brand, whose creative direction is entrusted to the AngelettiRuzza Design studio.
“Bottega Intreccio was born from a strong sense of belonging to the territory, to the family and to an artisan tradition: it was born to give new life to a very ancient work that was being lost, to give young people the opportunity to discover how satisfying it is to work using one's own hands to create wonder,” add Silvana Angeletti and Daniele Ruzza.
