This colorful carpet was designed by A. Mendini and crafted entirely by hand by expert artisans in Nepal. The cotton of the weft is knotted with Tibetan wool, which is one of the finest in the world, thanks to the high altitude at which the animals graze. The result is an exquisite and highly resistant piece that features a turquoise ground dotted with irregular spots in yellow, red, and green.
