Babele Bookcase by Martinelli Venezia Studio

The Babele bookcase is a modular system composed of circular units designed to be stacked together as freestanding units or mounted to a wall (hardware included), inspired by Athanasius Kircher’s depiction of the mythical Tower of Babel. This version includes six units (42cm height) composed of discs (Ø 36cm) connected by slender rods finished in DeLabré Orbitale copper, forming a DeLabré iron finished tiered structure (manual finishing by De Castelli gives the metal a scratched texture).
