D70 Beige Sofa by Osvaldo Borsani

Part of the "ABV Collection", this sofa appeared for the first time in a prestigious design exhibition in 1954 and it's a luminous and sleek solution for transforming a living area into a relaxing lounge corner. The linear seat and backrest padded with polyurethane foam and covered in a beige fabric are mobile elements that can be freely lifted or reclined to the desired posture by turning the rear knob activating the side mechanism that the designer Osvaldo Borani deliberately decided to leave exposed. A lead-grey matt painted base completes the design.
