Nardo Black and White Penholder by Matteo Cibic

Soberly ironic, the anthropomorphic shape of this design was conceived by Matteo Cibic to make it suitable as a penholder, a toothbrush holder, or as a vase for dried flowers - inner glass or plastic jar is recommended if displaying fresh flowers since the marble is not water-resistant. Playfully resembling ears and a mouth respectively, the side handles and the base are both crafted of black Marquina marble, while the recipient is in white Michelangelo marble for a superb chromatic contrast. Please note that marbles and stones are natural materials and they can differ also if coming from the same quarry or the same block. The product shown may differ from purchased items. Every piece is unique. Vases made of various marbles cannot guarantee watertightness.
