Primitive Black by Mario Scairato

Primitive is a research project on basic forms, inscribed in 12x12 cm squares, originating from flat surfaces, natural elements, and simple processes. Within this framework, modest domestic sculptures emerge through the art of material cutting and fitting. The Primitive, designed for Rampinelli, embodies the inherent qualities of its source material, presenting itself as an extraterrestrial object: glacial and cold, its shape evoking an enigmatic quality sculpted by the passage of time.
