Designed by Ennio Nonni as a concrete reflection on pollution and environment themes, this precious tapestry handcrafted by textile artist Marta Pederzoli depicts a futurist, visionary landscape in neon and unnatural tones devoid of human presence, where a luminous tower rises from behind an urban profile. Flying elements deftly detailed and contoured enliven the clear, nocturnal sky. The fibers used for this textile result from the processing of recycled PET bottles.

Ennio Nonni
Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Artist
Urban planner, architect, and designer Ennio Nonni was born in Faenza in 1954 where he directed urban design projects for over 30 years. Nonni cultivated his passion for design through his minimal and colorful vases and sculptures characterized by the "faience", glazed ceramic earthenware, combined with themes of futuristic cities, enigmatic but not unlikely architectural fantasies. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Nonni directed two museums (MAP Institute and MUS.T) and introduced incentives for green construction, “biourbanism”, and contemporary art projects in 2019.Discover more
