Wolves of the Agri Valley Photographic Print

During a long work of documenting the cultural heritage of the upper Agri Valley (Basilicata region, southern Italy) carried out in 2022, the artist came across the census of some native wild animal species such as the wolf of the Lucanian Apennines. This species is highly protected, and these two stuffed wolves in particular were part of a herd that was entirely victimized by poaching. Law enforcement after requisition decided to donate the bodies to the local forestry agency.
