Black Portoro Gold vein marble, also known as “Black & Gold marble”, is the protagonist of this Formaminima Limited Edition, dedicated to this evergreen luxurious decorative stone. Recalling the ancient heritage of the Roman Empire, its quarries belong to the beautiful “Gulf of Poets” of Portovenere in Liguria-Italy. This prestigious polychromatic marble was employed in the decoration of Versailles castle in France, throughout the 19th century.
