Resulting from the artist's casual and visionary approach, this superb chair handcrafted from burnished wrought iron will accent any decor with its playful look. The willowy silhouette flaunts an airy design, where the circular seat (45 cm high - 34.5 cm ⌀) raised on sinuous legs is complemented by eccentric stretchers and by a backrest fashioned of dramatically intertwining curves with spherical finials. The creative inspiration behind the piece explains its name, the Italian for sketch.

Idee del Fabbro
Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Blacksmith
Specialized in the production of iron furnishing objects, Idee del Fabbro was founded in 1996 by Paolo Quadalti to preserve the art of Italian hand-wrought iron. Based in Masiera di Bagnacavallo, Ravenna, the company uses a combination of traditional blacksmithing processing techniques and technological innovation to assemble different materials, such as iron, steel, copper, aluminum, wood, ceramic, and glass. Each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind, defined by sinuous and graceful shapes inspired by a natural simplicity. Some pieces are made in collaboration with Lorenzo Quadalti.Discover more
