Handmade decorative cakestand in red terracotta. Its engobed surface was made by firing it at 1000°, then given a transparent glaze and fired for a second time at 930°. The illustration is an ode to nature's beauty: a bare-chested woman carries a bowl of freshly picked fruit on her head, with details in her hair echoed in the landscape.
