Faded Green Apple

This glossy green apple is a unique creation made completely by hand by Pietro Arnoldi and was sculpted from a piece of solid fir wood. Using a chain saw, the artist crafted the apple, which was sanded down and painted green. Further sanding gives the apple a non-uniform finish, and a hand-forged and beaten nail forms the apple’s stem.
