Set of 2 Fish Blue Decorative Plates

Beautifully executed using the ingobbio technique, an ancient Tuscan pottery process that adds greater definition to colors and details, ceramist Dalila Chessa has created a series of decorative ceramic plates featuring an array of colorful hand-painted designs. This ceramic plate is molded on a lathe and painted with a black-and-white fish that comes alive against the deep-blue background. Fired twice in the kiln (first at 1000°C and then at 930°C), the plate finally obtains its distinctive glazed finish.
