Characterized by simple, clean-cut shapes, this unusual side table designed by Matteo Fiorini is made of iron with a small spherical lamp in white blown glass housed on the top. Perfect in the living room next to the sofa or as an original bedside table in the bedroom, this table has a nickel glossy finish with three legs. Inspired by Einstein's the Theory of Relativity (the name Alby is a short for Albert, a playful tribute to the famous physicist), the tabletop features a gentle curvature, evoking the light distortion created by the photon's movement in space, where the lamp is set.

Discovering the Artisan
Mangani 1958
Toscana, Italy | Ceramist
Since the 19th century, in Florence, the Mangani family has been sculpting and passing down their knowledge from father to son. In 1958, Alfiero Mangani opened a workshop where he restored porcelain, along with his sons. The small workshop attracted the interest of Tiffany, whose buyers noticed the exquisite quality of a porcelain demi-cup made by Ivan. They started a collaboration that lasted decades and lead to the creation of superb objects and lamps. Now, the new generation continues the family tradition of creating unique pieces of timeless allure and great quality.Discover more
