Standing Woman Sculpture

This slightly stylized female clay figure, was fired a first time at 1040°C (1900 °F), then painted and fired again with a transparent glaze at 940 °C (1720°F). The reduction firing technique has turned the copper flowers red, while the sweater has taken on blue highlights.
