Fiorentino Jewelry Box

This precious jewelry box will bring the magic of historic Florence to vanities with its stunning design inspired by inlays from the facades of ancient palaces and churches. Fashioned of wood, the box gets finely painted by hand with a base in acrylic white paint following the traditional “encaustic” method (natural pigments get mixed with wax and water), decorations in green and red-terracotta enriched with a marbled effect achieved using the sponging technique. Finished with beeswax.
