This stately rug designed by Lanzavecchia + Wai in 2013 is part of an exclusive limited edition of only five pieces hand-knotted in Nepal using wool and bamboo silk threads. Perfect for a large foyer or bedroom, this oval rug features the Southeast Asian cicada rendered in full detail and color. The design is framed by a subtle geometric background in light-blue and a double-banded edge in gray-blue, allowing it to take center stage. This piece features 200 knots per inch with 6mm-high pile and can be customized on request in other sizes.
