Pop reinterpretation of archetypal design. This vase is inspired by the Roman amphora typology by Heinrich Dressel, based on findings from the Monte Testaccio archaeological site in Rome. Made using 3D printing technology, it transforms PLA filaments into an iconic classical silhouette. Crafted exclusively with high-grade PLA, a thermoplastic derived from renewable resources and compostable in industrial facilities. The vase features an elegant combination of Lila, Burgundy and Salmon colors.

Discovering the Artisan

Crystal Stone
Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Marble Designer
Specialized in natural stones and marbles, Ballarini was established in 1979, but the Crystal Stone® cave in Montebello has been with the Ballarini family since 1800. In 1965, the family began extracting Crystal Stone® alabaster for decorative purposes. Until this day, the entire process, from the excavation to the final finish is performed under the Ballarini family alongside their artisans. Every piece of furnishing is made entirely by hand in Italy using artisanal techniques.Discover more
