Glazed inside with a natural celadon color evoking water on a rock, this earth-textured vase has an irregular shape with very unique and subtle cut sides and a frayed top rim. This one-off vase cracked surface is the result of a complex technique using the artist's own blend of high-temperature stoneware clays. Molded on the wheel, the second firing at very high temperatures in an oxygen-reduction kiln determines the original and evocative surface's earth tones and texture.
