Water Carpet

This stunning piece will make a statement in any room of a modern or contemporary design, where it will add a dynamic accent and a refined texture. Part of a series of carpets made in India and hand knotted with 62,000 knots per squared meter, this striking wool and viscose piece was knotted on a cotton warp. The two fabrics are featured together in a sinuous embrace of dark and light grey, thanks to a V shaped carving called Berai that keeps them separate. The vessels are hand added for a unique effect.
