White Mosaic Vase

Entirely handcrafted of ceramic on a lathe, this splendid vase boasts sinuous shapes in pure white with hand-applied decorations shaped as tiny ornate handles hand-painted in gold. The flared mouth is superbly decorated using a special method developed by Sambuco consisting in hand-etching the surface to obtain a mosaic effect. The resulting magnificent floral decoration is adorned with gold on the bottom and top rims. The object is fired three times in the kiln to set its elegant colors and precious finishes.
