Austrian Bierdemeier-Style Column Accent Table

An ode to the rich Austrian Biedermeier style (1830-1840), this one-off accent table is a minute reproduction of an original design equipped with a door. Its column-like beech frame flaunts a romantic hand-painted floral motif on the olived-ash briar veneer, whose intricate grain harmonizes with the waxed, round Portoro marble tops. Black shellac and gold leaf accent both the top and base.
