Part of the Big Humans Collection, this majolica sculpture depicts a blue deep-sea diver standing still with a seagull perched on their head and another one peeking out from under the mask. Linked to a dreamy and visionary world, the piece is molded, finished, and hollowed out by hand to prevent it from cracking in the kiln during the first firing at 960°C. A final firing step at 930°C seals the vibrant, glossy enamels. Please ask the Concierge for available customization options.

Freaklab
Sicilia, Italy | Ceramist
Freaklab is a contemporary atelier, a creative workshop producing majolica terracotta pieces, established in Palermo by Antonio Sunseri in 2016. Freaklab serves up original pieces that draw inspiration from the relationship between man and nature, featuring animals and monstrous creatures. To convey his ideas, Antonio uses a paintbrush to represent the world of painting, a pencil, the symbol of drawing, and a scalpelto shape his materials.Discover more
