Founded by Jwana Hamdan, a young Italian entrepreneur of Lebanese origins, the homonymous brand proposes itself as the first outdoor furniture brand where Italian design know-how meets a cosmopolitan cultural heritage of Middle Eastern inspiration.
The Wandering Majlis, the brand's first collection, is unveiled: a series of furnishings inspired by the nomadic world, which tell a new idea of outdoor spaces, where to discover an authentic way of cultivating relationships with people and spaces. The collection is inspired by the meanings of the word Majlis-literally "a space to sit" a concept peculiar to Arab culture, for centuries a symbol of welcome and hospitality.
Each piece of furniture is made from excellent raw materials certified for outdoor use, which ensures high performance in terms of durability, as well as maximum comfort in use. The fundamental distinguishing feature of the collection is the exclusive textile design, inspired by the textile art of the Bedouins, the Sadu, with refined color palettes and sophisticated patterns.
