Chiostro Sideboard

Designed exclusively for Artemest's event "Stranger Pinks" at the Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week 2018, this superb console evokes the architecture of a cloister. Its internal space is exquisitely outlined to reproduce two layers of a portico with cross vaults, with an inlaid shelf evoking the decorated flooring of monasteries. The soft pink color, playful and refined, attenuates the rigor of this objet d'art, symbolizing the Italian artistic heritage and its taste. The structure is in varnished MDF (also available in other hues), the inlays are veneered in bois violette and ash.
