D70 Gray Sofa by Osvaldo Borsani

This sofa or sofa bed debuted at a renowned design exhibition in 1954 and represents an elegant and clever solution to transform a living area into a relaxing lounge corner. The straight seat and backrest, padded with polyurethane foam and upholstered in grey fabric, are mobile elements that can be lifted or reclined into the desired position by turning the rear knob, which activates the side mechanism—deliberately exposed by the designer.
