The Dragons plate features a lavish grotesque pattern inspired by 15th-century tradition, crafted in polychrome majolica. The wide rim with a raised edge hosts two contour bands: the outer displays radial symmetry with hybrid dolphins and bearded masks, while the inner presents concentric peacock feather motifs interwoven with florals on a white background. The center highlights a winged mythological figure with a lion's body and woman's bust holding an intricately decorated shield.
