Discovering the Artisan

Le Luci Artigiane

Toscana, Italy | Lighting Maker

Editor's Picks

Light,style and design. Limitless.

At one time, there was an old workshop run by an elderly craftsman. In this place, brass lanterns, among other things, were created. Having reached retirement age, the craftsman realized that he had no one to whom he could leave his legacy, which was considered uninteresting or unprofitable. The workshop's fate seemed sealed: closure. However, one day, the elderly man's fate met that of Paolo and Nicola, two young entrepreneurs who shared with him a passion for brass and light. Thus was born in 2015 Le Luci Artigiane, a workshop specializing in the slow design and production of lamps and lanterns made of brass, a metal with ancient origins that carries intrinsic value and a rich history. The workshop of Le Luci Artigiane is located in Lucca, in the heart of Tuscany, a land that has always been the cradle of cultural transformations and the home of artistic world history and beauty. Le Luci Artigiane offers a selection of lamps and lanterns suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, fully customizable in terms of size, finish and materials. Thanks to the presence of an in-house technical department, the company establishes itself as a point of reference for professionals in the field of architecture and interior design, collaborating with them in the development of projects aimed at the specific needs of their clients. We operate by following strict business ethics, where quality, sustainability and social responsibility are at the heart of every decision. Every lamp that leaves our workshop is the result of craftsmanship, passion for design and commitment to a positive impact on the community and the environment. In our journey, we have adopted environmentally sustainable production processes, promoting recycling and responsible use of resources. We are committed to keeping the craftsmanship legacy alive, with an eye to the future. Le Luci Artigiane aims to illuminate not only environments, but also to help illuminate history and culture with its unique and distinctive light.
