Magma Black Lava Stone and Bronze Sculptural Coffee Table

Designed by Studio Cale in collaboration with Sartorialitica, this coffee table pairs raw materiality with refined craftsmanship. Lava stone slabs are hand-split using hammer and chisel, then treated with a protective black finish that enhances their natural texture and depth. The elements are assembled on a cast bronze base, whose smooth, luminous surface contrasts with the stone’s rugged tridimensionality. This interplay of rough and polished surfaces accentuates the sculptural presence of the piece, celebrating both strength and elegance.
