Ossa is a collection of artistic ceramics inspired by plant seed pods, natural containers that protect and preserve the essence of life. Some pieces in the Ossa collection closely reflect the botanical features of their plant inspiration, while others abstract their organic shapes into sculptural forms. What unites them is a single purpose: to celebrate life in all its myriad expressions. This vase is handcrafted from white stoneware, glazed and fired at high temperatures. The interior features a glossy optical white finish, while the exterior has a tactile, matte ivory surface. The design is inspired by the seed pod of Trigonella radiata (or Medicago radiata), a small clover native to the Middle East. Unique piece.
