Roma 107 - Ponte Sisto Polaroid Lift

Part of a series of only 12 shots dedicated to Roman architecture, this piece offers a glimpse of the Sixtus Bridge, named after the pope who had commissioned it. The transposition of the original shot's emulsion layer on hand-cut cotton paper results in unpredictable tears and ripples that lend the image its worn-out charm. A pink bottom and a simple passe-partout (cm 20x20) complete the design.
