"Take Me Up" is Paolo Stella's first rugs collection and it draws inspiration from the ceilings of his Milanese apartment. His first memory of a rug is Aladdin's flying carpet magically helping people to fulfill their dreams. When asked to design one, he lay down on the rug in his living-room and saw the elegant plasters decorating the ceiling. Suddenly, he decided to transpose them onto his collection.
