Vanitas Sculpture by Eliana Gerotto for Bradley Theodore - Main view

For Milan Design Week 2022, Artemest collaborated with Venice Factory and artist Bradley Theodore on this one-of-a-kind piece, to be showcased at the exhibition BLOW: Bradley Theodore Meets Murano. This limited edition of one piece is available exclusively on Artemest. This Murano glass sculpture has been designed by Eliana Gerotto in collaboration with Bradley Theodore. Inspired by Theodore's iconography, Venice Factory has reinterpreted the traditional memento mori theme of the skull - seen through the centuries in Venetian paintings, jewelry, lacquered wood and intarsia. Vanitas reworks Theodore's color palette, dynamic brush strokes and personality via traditional Murano glassblowing techniques, with an expert mix of glass canes, hand-engraved silvered gold leaf, and a mix of rainbow colors. Please note that this exquisite piece has been part of the BLOW collection by Bradley Theodore on show at Artemest Galleria in New York.
