Milanese architect Carola Altamura’s affection for Apulia runs deep: she spent her childhood summers at her grandparents’ home in Apulia, basking in the warm sun and salty sea breeze. Her exploration of the region’s landscape, charming people, and rich traditions guided her professional journey and various design projects. Her newest venture is a series of scented candles that pay homage to Apulia’s magnificent countryside, reinterpreting the traditional macchiato technique in new colors as praise of genuine spontaneity using the traditional “macchiato” technique.

Portego

Portego is a new Italian brand showcasing the best of high-end craft that the Veneto region has to offer. Their work is the result of collaborations between designers and a select group of Veneto artisans. Portego’s products are contemporary in their aesthetic, with classical echoes. They asked designer Chiara Andreatti to create a line inspired by the Venetian Lagoon. Researching classical etchings, Chiara was able to give new life to a traditional technique from Vicenza, with an ironic appropriation of scientific illustration.

His Creazioni Serra pieces are characterized by soft, natural silhouettes and innovative design, kissed by the Salento sun in an open-roof workshop.
