Italian Sputnik and 24K Gold Chandelier
32.940 EURDiscover the story of the Sputnik chandelier, a design born in the middle of the mid-century modern era, when the 1975 launch of the Sputnik orbiting satellite inspired countless shapes and designs and even contaminated the world of home décor: with a core surrounded by multiple arm that end in numerous lightbulbs, pointing in many direction, the Sputnik chandelier resembles the iconic structure of the revolutionary satellite.
Aggiolight presents from the "Luna Collection" a piece in collaboration with studio AnalogLab called Luna Cosmo Large Chandelier. The collection is a result of a combination of the minimal design and the materials and capacity of the Italian craftsmanship. The Sistema Solare 8-Arms Brass and Onyx Chandelier by Silvio Piattelli is the variation of the Sistema chandelier where the shade is made of a thin cut Ivory Onyx slab. Sistema collection uses the successful rotating stem structure of the Orbitale collection and features an architectural low and large cylinder light source on each arm’s end.
