Nestled in the Alps of Northern Italy, Parkhotel Mondschein was born in between the ancient walls of a historic property surrounded by nature, in the city of Bolzano. Recently redesigned by Studio Biquadra, this place represents the perfect getaway from the buzz of the city as well as the nostalgic memory of an uncontaminated past.

Once upon a time, nestled somewhere remote in the Alps of Northern Italy, there was a beautiful and sumptuous building… This is how a fairytale inspired by Parkhotel Mondschein’s story would definitely begin. This fancy hotel, in fact, was born in between the ancient walls of a historic property surrounded by nature, located in the city of Bolzano. Dating back to the XIV Century, the old structure originally was the first guest house ever built in town. Through time, its architectural features, among which the broad hallways and the high ceilings, have been kept intact. During late XIX, it expanded significantly in Belle Époque style.

Today, under the “moonlight”of a renewed sky, a gust of fresh air is blowing into the historic estate. Recently, indeed, it was redesigned in collaboration with Merano-based interior architects at Studio Biquadra, spearheaded by Christina Biasi-von Berg, with the goal of enhancing the most ancient spaces. Whether it symbolizes the nostalgia of an uncontaminated past or a getaway from the buzz of the city, Parkhotel Mondschein is the perfect place where to recharge yourself.

The interior design of the rooms follows a minimalist taste, reminiscent of the Italian cinematic aesthetic from the early 1960s. Dark wood details, comfy upholstered beds, classic white lampshades and frameless mirrors, are only few of the elements that will turn your stay into a scene from a movie. Colors are mostly inspired by nature, as an ode to the beauty of the mountain landscape. Bathed in old-style atmosphere, this hotel is a urban oasis for collecting unforgettable holiday memories.

In Parkhotel Mondschein relaxation comes first. Start the day with an exquisite breakfast à la carte, served alongside the finest Italian coffee.
