The seductive almond shape was chosen by artist Mascia Meccani when handcrafting this vase. Fashioned of a red terracotta sourced in Montelupo Fiorentino, it is decorated with mixed media and sports a central gray-toned area with shaded edges contrasting with the rest of the matte azure body. A textured effect - seemingly achieved by pressing fingertips into the terracotta - enlivens the sides.
