Inspired by the Renaissance "picchiotti", door knockers that once adorned the front doors of noble residences and palazzi, this contemporary version features an Art Deco minimalist aesthetics of geometric, flowing lines. The mirror-polished finish of the piece is contrasted by porous sides that retain traces of the casting process.
