Stag Beetle Rectangular Box

A refined place to store treasured objects, this box is handcrafted of goat parchment and brown parchment highlighting the profile around the fitted lid. Displaying an original drawing of a stag beetle from Federico Carandini's 1947 sketchbook, the lid is finished with a translucent layer obtained with a complex manufacturing process, whereby the parchment becomes transparent when applied to the wooden surface.
