Sbittarte

Sbittarte was founded in late 2015 by Leonardo Collanega inspired by the word "sbittare" ("lift the cleat, untie the moorings"), a practice that nourishes the creativity of individuals in the spirit of free expression. The Marostica-based workshop specializes in majolica using ancient techniques passed down by artisans from Nove, Bassano, and Marostica. Since the beginning, Collanega has been experimenting with new forms using clay, stoneware, refractory and semi-refractory, and porcelain, working in collaboration with Stefano Bertoncello for the finishing details.

White Porcelain Florence

Located in Settignano, a small town on the hills overlooking Florence, White Porcelain Florence is an artisan workshop where master ceramist Nerina Martinelli creates porcelain tableware pieces inspired by the surrounding natural landscapes. A former restaurateur, Martinelli attended the workshop of renowned Florentine artist Romano Pampaloni and subsequently decided to pursue her passion for porcelain. Each of her pieces is meticulously handcrafted, defined by essential lines and finished with a layer of crystalline to heighten the natural porcelain color.

Located in Montagnana, a small town near Padua, Pregno started out as a small factory founded in 1971 by Tullio Pregno specialized in high-quality furniture made using traditional cabinet-making techniques. Currently directed by his son Fabio, the company produces “antique” style, classic, contemporary, and bespoke collections whose flawless execution, sober lines, and premium materials express the brand’s clever balance of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship for elite clientele from all over the world

Michele Fabbricatore

Florentine-born Michele Fabbricatore is a young artist who studied Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and enrolled in courses in engraving and graphics at Il Bisonte and the Armadillo Atelier in Florence as well as the International School for Childhood Illustration in Sarmede (TV). In his Pisa-based, namesake studio, Fabbricatore creates evocative ceramic sculptures inspired by literature, mythology, fairy tales, and nature, which reflect his artistic vision of using it as a means of transmitting a poetic world to stir positive human emotions.

The Regina Scarlatta brand was created by Cristian Galeazzi, who was motivated by a great passion for handcrafted woodwork. Growing up in the area around Pesaro, Cristian was influenced by the pipe making tradition of the region. He uses only root wood from Tuscany and Calabria, aged for at least three years in his workshop before carving it. Passionate about art since childhood, Genova-born Maurizia Carantani graduated from the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts and began her career in painting and graphic design in the 1970s. In 1980, she debuted her first collection of ceramic pieces characterized by irregular shapes, contrasting finishes, and unconventional materials. The expressive, bold quality of her pieces and focus on abstract geometries define her personal style. Carantani’s many works are featured in private collections, museums, and art galleries in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan.

Agnes Duerrschnabel Atelier

German-born artisan Agnes Duerrschnabel has had an unconventional artistic journey. First moving to Milan for a language course, she worked as an interpreter and sworn translator for the Court of Como for over 30 years. Never once setting aside her passion for art, she returned to Germany in 2007 to study at the National Institute for Ceramics Design in Höhr-Grenzhausen and, in 2013, opened a workshop in Como’s historic Santa Margherita monastery. Her unique pieces have a delicate aesthetic that feature grès, porcelain, and natural elements such as marine wood and stones.
