Maronese’s story has its roots in the strong work ethic defining family-run furniture companies in the Pordenone area.In 1966, while the area was undergoing its industrial transition, Giovanni and Iginio Polesello founded the Maronese furniture factory alongside Bruno Billot and Angelo Copat. Growing competition and technological integration led Maronese to form the ATMAGroup in 1984 to strengthen its position on the international stage. This dynamic identity makes Maronese an outstanding success story of industrial furniture production with an artisan soul.

Materiae Edizioni Napoli

Located in the heart of Naples’ Chiaia district, Spazio Materiæ is an interior design atelier co-founded in 2015 by architects Teresa Carnuccio and Stefano Santoro with the goal of proposing pieces by young, up-and-coming Italian designers alongside high-end furniture brands. The dynamic workshop is a stimulating environment for both innovative international designers and seasoned, iconic Italian and European designers. The first collection of limited edition pieces titled Materiæ Edizioni Napoli was showcased at the 2020 EDIT Napoli.

Mirei Monticelli

Lombardia, Italy | Lighting Maker

Mirei Monticelli is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer and founder of Studiomirei, a project born in 2019 with the mission to create eco-conscious sustainable lighting and objects using industrial processes and traditional artisan techniques. The main material is Banaca fiber, cultivated from the Philippines and woven by a community of weavers in the province of Bicol. Born in the Philippines, Monticelli has a Masters degree in Design and Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and received the Salone Satellite for her Nebula lamp during Milan Design Week 2019.

Ennio Nonni

Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Artist

Urban planner, architect, and designer Ennio Nonni was born in Faenza in 1954 where he directed urban design projects for over 30 years. Nonni cultivated his passion for design through his minimal and colorful vases and sculptures characterized by the "faience", glazed ceramic earthenware, combined with themes of futuristic cities, enigmatic but not unlikely architectural fantasies. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Nonni directed two museums (MAP Institute and MUS.T) and introduced incentives for green construction, “biourbanism”, and contemporary art projects in 2019.

Fabio Pierantonio’s artistic vision embodies balance and the connection between man and nature. His extensive travels exposed him to the spirituality of the Aboriginal Australians and Native Americans, rooted in overcoming the alienation and anxieties of modern life by reconnecting with the natural world. His works are expressed through carefully selected organic materials that are combined to convey a harmony of shapes, colors and emotion. Pietrantonio lives between the Alps and the island of Sardinia, drawing inspiration from these two captivating environments.

Tipstudio is a design studio based in Florence and Pietrasanta that explores the potential of materials and processes with a critical, future-oriented approach. Bridging design and art, Tipstudio specializes in creative consulting, research, furniture design, and limited-edition collectibles. Recognized by Elle Decor’s "Talent on Show" at Milan Design Week 2022, they collaborate with galleries, brands, and private clients. Founders Imma and Tommaso are also Course Leaders of the Interior Design Master’s Program at IED Florence.

Francesca Verardo

Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy | Ceramist

Architect Francesca Verardo cultivated her passion for ceramics by training with Italian and international master ceramists. She was inspired to open her own workshop after meeting English potter David Roberts, founder of the Naked Raku movement in Europe, in 2012. Her atelier opened a year later in Pordenone, where Verardo started producing contemporary raku ceramic jewelry in black and white with smoky tones. Her minimalist, geometric style is defined by monochrome surfaces combined with precious metals, finely hand-painted using traditional techniques.

Keep Life

Campania, Italy | Designer

Born and raised in Campania, designers Ilaria Spagnuolo and Pietro Petrillo are the art-directors of Keep Life®. The brand was inspired by the Southern Italian tradition of eating dried fruit and nuts at the end of the meal: Petrillo noticed how the emptied shells formed an irregular yet harmonious tapestry on the table and, in 2017, Keep Life® was born. The founder, Petrillo, developed and patented KL, a sustainable, bio-inspired material made of shells that are dried, ground, and glued together without chemical solvents. Every KL piece embodies the principles of continuity and harmony between man and Nature, marked by a distinct texture and scent.

Angus Hampel

Toscana, Italy | Artist

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Angus Hampel is an award-winning painter and printmaker. With an unconventional background pursuing Classical Studies at Oxford and working as a journalist and editor, Hampel changed paths over two decades ago after passing by an art school in London. He moved to Tuscany, where he still lives and works, to study art at an atelier in Florence. Hampel’s paintings, etchings, and aquatints are studies in visual meditation and contemplation that convey a sense of wonder at the beauty of life, nature, and her amazing creations.

Spanish-born designer and architect Marta Benet moved to Italy in 2015 to study ceramics after graduating from the Universitat Politècnica de València. Her multidisciplinary training in fashion and design comes across in her contemporary aesthetic. Exploring natural materials with traditional techniques allows Benet to create textures and highlight imperfections rather than concealing them to engage all five senses. Benet creates all pieces - from ceramics to fabrics and limited-edition series - from her home studio in Asola, Mantova.

San Patrignano

Located in Rimini, San Patrignano is the largest halfway house in Europe, offering drug addicts the tools to build a new life since 1978. Brought to life under the creative direction of artist Giovanna Bianco, San Patrignano’s solesempre Collection features unique objects handcrafted by the house’s young residents in Design Lab workshops, combining art and materials with stories of personal rebirth. This initiative, inspired by the darkness of the lockdown, seeks to create objects that bring a ray of light, hope, and comfort into our homes. This is a charity project, 100% of profits will be devolved to the community of San Patrignano

Terry Davies

British-born studio stoneware potter Terry Davies began his training in the late 1970s, traveling extensively before eventually settling down in Tuscany 25 years ago.
