S-Chair by Tom Dixon

An iconic symbol of contemporary design first created in 1991, the S-Chair by Tom Dixon is exhibited in the permanent collections of some of the world’s greatest museums like the New York MoMA. An industrial masterpiece with an artisanal soul, it features a steel structure lacquered in a dark brown powder and resting on small black plastic feet, strikingly covered with marsh straw, weaved by hand following a meticulous 6-hour procedure.
