Born in Bologna to a family of art collectors, Luisa Longo studied at the Ècole du Louvre in Paris where she first began painting on organza, silks, and satins (Fibre Art). Longo combines these versatile textiles with water-based colors, special acrylics, and powder pigments for a striking see-through effect, transforming her pieces into decorative objects and home furnishing accessories. Longo draws inspiration from symbolism and expressionism, her pieces a constant exploration of the cosmos, nature, and music. She lives in Trastevere, Rome in her Guest House-Fibre Art Studio.

Specialized in the production of iron furnishing objects, Idee del Fabbro was founded in 1996 by Paolo Quadalti to preserve the art of Italian hand-wrought iron. Based in Masiera di Bagnacavallo, Ravenna, the company uses a combination of traditional blacksmithing processing techniques and technological innovation to assemble different materials, such as iron, steel, copper, aluminum, wood, ceramic, and glass. Each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind, defined by sinuous and graceful shapes inspired by a natural simplicity. Some pieces are made in collaboration with Lorenzo Quadalti.

Founded by Antonio Capelletti in 1861 in Meda, Province of Monza and Brianza, C.G. Capelletti was once a small artisanal workshop. Today the company is an international leader in their sector, creating furnishings for private villas, hotels, restaurants, public spaces, and yachts. Each of their pieces is reproduced from historic pieces, respecting proportions, materials, and finishes to satisfy any client, even those requesting personalization.

Initially a branch of historic furniture company La Veneta, Scapin Collezioni embodies contemporary design vision that pushes the limits of artisanship. The brand revisits traditional forms with cutting-edge technologies, transforming them into singular and eccentric pieces that effortlessly balance art and design. Scapin Collezioni’s collaborations with renowned artists and designers has resulted in iconic furniture and interior accessories characterized by playful shapes and tactile surfaces with a distinctive sculptural and artistic flair

Based in the coastal city of Naples, Lab Design specializes in materials for interior and exterior renovation benefitting from a rich, multi-generational crafting tradition. Passion and constant innovation characterize Lab Design’s production, created in collaboration with local artisans and custom-made using a wide selection of materials, such as ceramics, terracotta, natural stone, and continuous surfaces. Mediterranea is the latest collection of hand-decorated ceramic tableware inspired by the colors of the Mediterranean that permeate the city’s cultural fabric.

Milanese architect Carola Altamura’s affection for Apulia runs deep: she spent her childhood summers at her grandparents’ home in Apulia, basking in the warm sun and salty sea breeze. Her exploration of the region’s landscape, charming people, and rich traditions guided her professional journey and various design projects. Her newest venture is a series of scented candles that pay homage to Apulia’s magnificent countryside, reinterpreting the traditional macchiato technique in new colors as praise of genuine spontaneity using the traditional “macchiato” technique.

Portego combines high-quality craftsmanship and international design to create exclusive furniture that is the result of research into contemporary trends. The brand enhances creativity, craftsmanship, and beauty, reinterpreting ancient knowledge. Since 2015, it has been producing unique pieces in collaboration with designers and artisans, taking care of every stage of the production process. Rooted in Venetian traditions, Portego combines tradition and innovation to offer global and customizable furniture solutions, an expression of the connection between different cultures through design.

Founded in 2003, De Castelli is a company that is internationally recognized for its ability to explore and express the expressive potential of metal - particularly steel, brass and copper - by declining it in furniture, upholstery and architectural projects. Faithful to the choice of giving metal back a privileged role in design experimentation, De Castelli grafts into typically industrial processes the matrix of thought and craftsmanship that leads to entirely new outcomes.

Mamate is a Brescia-based ceramic studio, following the process step by step to create both decorative ceramics and pieces for everyday use. All their designs are made by hand to preserve the material’s unique characteristics, employing traditional tools such as the lathe. JCP Universe is an unconventional brand going beyond the usual commercial framework to open culture to everyone. Based in Cantù, near Como, the brand presents objects of wonder and discovery from an imagined alternate reality. A young and dynamic company based in Puglia, Dimarmo is where designers and skilled artisans come together to harness stone working traditions. A sculptor and designer, Andrea Serra was born in Lecce in 1981 and was immediately surrounded by art thanks to his grandfather, a sculptor and painter, and his mother, an art teacher. At the age of 14, he came in contact with Lecce’s famed limestone, forming an unbreakable bond with the material and using it for all of his works. From a small bottega producing artistic furnishings, Annibale Colombo, founded in 1812 by Filippo Colombo, is now an international reference point for quality woodworking. Festina Lente is a Latin motto that means Make haste slowly. With this motto in mind, in 2017 Marta founded the brand of eco-luxury home fragrances Festina Lente. She creates each fragrance and makes each product by hand in small batches in her atelier in Milan, using vegan, cruelty-free ingredients with precious, phthalate-free scents and sustainable, locally made packaging. The logo is based on a series of gold coins minted for emperor Augustus in ancient Rome with the image of the prudent crab and the ambitious butterfly. Founded in 1923 by the Nason brothers, NasonMoretti is one of the oldest glass factories in Murano. Stemware, glasses and designer objects, all made by hand, signed and numbered, their work has become indisputable symbols of the Venetian art of tableware. The Le Luci Artigiane company was founded in Lucca, Tuscany, by an elderly craftsman who, after 50 years in the workshop, decided to teach the art of lamp manufacturing to two young iron craftsmen, Paolo and Nicola, who still today carry on the project with passion.
