Missoni is a luxury lifestyle brand founded in 1953 by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni. A promoter of a lively and optimistic look -where the use of colour and geometrical patterns convey an unmistakable style found in a wide range of products and projects, including the RTW collections for men and women, sportswear, beachwear, textile and leather accessories, in addition to home furniture -today Missoni interprets the human values of sustainability, inclusiveness, and respect for diversity that were ingrained in the company by the founders of the brand.

The home, Rosita Missoni’s great passion. Within the Missoni Home Collection project, which she has personally cared for since 1997, are the shared philosophy and vision of the original brand. And her idea of never-ending evolution.
The collection offers a lifestyle of home furnishings dominated by unmistakable and decorative fabrics, furnishing forms in interior spaces are versatile and modular and can also easily migrate outdoors. The personality of the style is consistent, yet renewed with unexpected additions of accessories and different details. “My home is synonymous with festive hospitality and pleasant atmospheres. To furnish my own way is to create an organized but informal habitat that excites and intrigues, where every space is an oasis of colors and moods. And free from formulas”.
Art and expertise are inextricably linked in the Missoni world, in which creativity and design unite with the undisputed pursuit of artisan experimentation that reaches its peak in the development and application of the most sophisticated techniques in the world of knitwear. To achieve the highest results in this sector and support the creativity of its team, Missoni recently restarted the original factory at Sumirago; it is flanked by a new production area that focuses on shuttle-woven fabrics.

Since June 2018 the Missoni family has been joined in its development of the company by private equity fund Fondo Strategico Italiano, which has set in motion a gradual managerialisation process that translates the original mission of Ottavio and Rosita Missoni in a contemporary way.
As well as a series of prestigious licenses with high-end partners, today Missoni also controls a network of 12 single-brand stores which are in addition to 20 franchise boutiques. Although Europe and the United States currently represent the brand’s main reference markets, Missoni is developing its business in the Middle East and, in particular, in the Far East, where the brand is planning to open several important stores in China.
Missoni’s vibrant colours and iconic, flame and zigzag patterns will soon decorate the common areas and luxury residences of the new real estate project Missoni Baia in Miami and the Urban Oasis in Dubai, but the company also has a direct channel with its end clients through missoni.com, the brand’s global flagship store that offers an immersive experience in the Missoni world.
