Caraffe Vase by Aldo Londi

This striking vase in the shape of an elongated carafe, is executed in white clay as part of a limited series of 199 objects. Its color block blue and ochre decorations highlight the different geometric engravings on the exterior of the piece. This minimalist vase was designed in 1950 by then artistic director Aldo Londi.
