The unique sculpture David and Kaws is made of wood. The sculpture depicts the face of David painted in bright colors. The artist has coined the term Colormination, to indicate the contamination of color within sculptures strongly inspired by the past. Typical of the artist is the combination of contemporary symbols and references to ancient sculptures to create a sort of imaginary bridge between the past and the present.
